The Computer Science program maintains a wireless LAN "Keck" available to those with a Keck Account, provided they have registered their laptop to their account. This network is available in Doolan Hall and with limited signal quality in Pereira. The network is 802.11 A/B/G based and utilizes a static WEP key and MAC based authentication.
To register your laptop or other wireless device, you must provide your laptop's MAC address to the Lab Manager in Doolan 104. The process takes only a few minutes and can be done by appointment or on a drop-in basis, provided the Lab Manager is available. The WEP key can be obtained from the sign in the Keck Lab.
802.11 capable devices other than laptops may be added to your account by providing the MAC address to the Lab Manager.
